As an artist, and as a person, I am concerned with the way we relate to ourselves, each other, and the places where we live. I’m interested in physical landscape and emotional landscape, in how our memories, beliefs and ideas shape how we see the world around us and how we act in it.

Art, I hope, can help us see beauty in the mundane, wonder in the quotidian.

If we can open ourselves with honesty and tenderness to the world, perhaps we can find a way to live in it with care.
