It's been more than a few years since I was an undergrad at the Rhode Island School of Design, and I've been wanting to renew my connections. One of my recent diptychs was accepted into their 2009 New England Alumni Biennial, opening on Saturday, January 10, from 1pm to ~4pm. The show features "76 works of art by 55 artists representing 13 different majors and spanning 4 decades." I'm excited to see my pieces in the context of so many other RISD artists.

Dropping off my work for this show, I finally got a chance to look around the Arsenal Center for the Arts. It's quite a place! I'll be at the opening on January 10, so if you would like a chance to see this great venue, and see collected works from scores of RISD artists, I'll look forward to seeing you.

The Biennial runs from January 8 to February 22, 2009 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA.
